- Increased intellectual curiosity; the desire to know „how” şi „why” all things happen; he/she puts stimulating questions; he/she doesn’t content with mundane explanations.
- High intellectual abilities; ability to work with abstract idea; to generalise, to note the corellations between various phenomena.
- Unusual perseverance for his/her age, the decision to take things to the end, to complete assigned or elected tasks; the power to focus on task for a long time.
- Exceptional speed of thought and development of response.
- Ability to learn quickly and easily; ability to understand the tasks before all explanations should be provided ; he/she needs a little exercise to purchase some skills.
- Good memory; apparently he/she needs no rehearsal.
- Increased vocabulary; increased linguistic responsiveness; he/she exhibits persistence for precise understanding of the meaning of words; pleasure to use specialized and technical terms.
- Great observation power.
- Vivid imagination , manifested in all kind of activities (verbale and nonverbal).
- Divergent thinking; he/she tends to look for unusual ways to solve problems.
- Initiative spirit; preference for independent work.
- Increased sense of humour.
- Increased requirement to himself/herself ; self-imposed standards of excellence; tendencies to perfectionism; he/she isn’t content with others’appreciation, living intensly self dissatisfaction.
- He/she hasn’t patience with himself/herself and others; intolerance towards weak people.
- Increased reactivity and sensitivity; he/she feels immediately frustrated; vulnerability to disapproval and underestimation.
- Wide range of interests; unusual passions to which he/she devotes with enthusiasm and competence.
- Levels of knowledge and competences above average in a particular area.
- Preference for entourage of adults and children older than his/her age.
- The desire to dominate groups of friends.
- He has concerns regarding the universal philosophy, such as human nature, the meaning of life, the concept of space.
